Is it true that there is a green flash when the sun set at the horizon? explain why ?
Where did you see this question? During sunset, the colour region is normally towards orange and red region. Would be quite weird in the green region. Anyone has the answer?
The Green Flash is a fleeting splash of intense emerald light appearing on the horizon in the blink of an eye just after sunset (or immediately before sunrise). Alas, Hawai'i is one of the best places on earth to view this natural phenomena.
The Green Flash is best seen when the sun sets into the ocean and only when the view is absolutely clear (cloudless) all the way to the horizon -- making the Green Flash much less frequent than the Big Kahuna would like.
